Save the date: The sixth edition of Grain Days (2024) will be held on 2–3 December 2024 at Monash University (Melbourne, VIC). 

Webinar: The third ANAGRAM webinar will be held by Prof. Daniel Holland from The University of Canterbury on Characterisation of granular flows using Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

The AustraliaN Association for GRAnular Media (ANAGRAM) is a non-profit association incorporated in 2018 with the intention of bringing together researchers in granular mechanics from around Australia. To join the association, please contact the Treasurer.

Objectives

The goals of ANAGRAM are to:

1. Host meetings for granular materials researchers around Australia

2. Encourage cross-fertilisation of ideas (at aforementioned meetings, for example)

3. Raise the profile of granular materials as a research field (e.g. with our FoR code 409903!)

Annual Activities

1. Doctoral Schools

2. Grain Day: One regular meeting per year, moving around Australia and hosted by one of the ANAGRAM members.

Membership fees

Annual membership fees for ANAGRAM are $10.

Fees can either be paid in person in cash to the Treasurer, or via bank transfer. If you would like to pay by bank transfer please email the Treasurer for details. You will be issued with a receipt.
